Question by resident_hector: Does anyone know of a sporty backpack that I can use for my Chihuahua??
My husband and I do a lot of mountain biking and i’m looking for a sporty backpack that has a good level of comfort for my little 7lb. Chihuahua so that I can take him with me on rides. No, I’m not going the basket on the front of the bike route. Come on now… and no trailers will do.
My dog already is comfortable in a doggie carseat and with different outfits on and in a carry bag… now i’m looking for a sporty backpack that is cool and properly made for dogs in these situations. Can anyone help me with any suggestions? Maybe a website that I can get one from? Nah, no kids just yet… when they come along, the dog will be in the trailer with the kids. I’m serious here so i’d appreciate some serious responses. All the ones I’ve seen are too bulky and not appropriate. It’s JUST for when i’m mountain biking on simple flat trails. No concern of falling. Thanks all.

My friend just got a new dog and brown small Chihuahua and were going to the Mall soon.(the Tacoma Mall) She has to bring her dog somehow or she can’t go to the mall.( the dog is not allowed to stay home alone and there’s no one home to take care of him)So is it possible to take a dog to the mall in a bag or in a carrier? Please help!

I have no clue if they are or not but the best way most probibly to find out would be to get their phone number (yellow pages?) and just ask someone who works there over the phone.

i was wondering if you can bring a papillon to places in a small doggy tote, like a yorkie or chihuahua because papillon are pretty big toy dogs and not as small as yorkies or chihuahuas. and i wanna ask if they can fit in a well sized bag, not too big.

Yes!!!!!!! They are a toy breed, so yes. They are not as small as Chihuahuas, though.

I’ve never heard of any. I don’t think they would be very safe – What if the St. Bernard decided to roll over and have a back itch?
