Q&A: What is the Quality of Juicy Dog Carriers?
Question by : What is the Quality of Juicy Dog Carriers?
I have a Min Pin, he’s about 7 or 8 pounds. I’ve bought dog carriers from petco and petsmart only to have the straps break after 4 or 5 months.
Here’s what I want to know about the Juicy carriers:
1. How is the quality of the material, ESPECIALLY the leather straps?
2. What’s the max. weight they can hold?
3. Are they really bulky to walk around with?
I’m REALLY only looking for people to answer that have had the EXACT same bag…
here’s a pic:

Goodness gracious, just let your dog use his legs. He needs the exercise. I mean, that’s why he has legs, right?

Horrible!
I bought the exact same one for my maltese, and it totally sucked. Only lasted a couple of weeks! My maltese is 5 pounds, and not overweight at all…
It was bulky, and it was a total pain having to carry my purse AND that stupid bag everywhere. I don’t remember the max weight, but it couldn’t have been more than 10 lbs. The material looked sturdy, but it didn’t last very long.
Just let your dog use his legs, like Meggzz said. My maltese doesn’t ride in dog carriers anymore, I swear he’s happier.
WHAT? What if someone put YOU in a HOT bag?? Let him walk. Dogs are NOT TOYS
Let your animal WALK…it is a dog not your baby princess…
Received one as a gift and wasn’t impressed at all…
1. quality= OK
2. MAX= 10 lbs
3. I find them bulky & also a pain to clean.
Beware of where you buy one, there are many fake JC dog carriers like the ones on ebay… Honestly, you’re just paying for a brand and there are far better carriers out there that are a hundred bucks cheaper.
If you’re looking for a quality pet carrier I suggest you look at Petote,
the Kelle bag is fantastic for traveling:
