Home is Where the Heart Is….

…even if it’s in the bushes behind the Exxon Station, I guess!!!!

I stop at this station for a hotdog breakfast almost every morning (the breakfast of champions!!!). So, while munching on my dog, I noticed that there was a lot of dew on all the plants and decided to take a few pics. Well, while I was on my knees, peering around through the camera’s lens, I caught a flash of movement and heard a radio playing in the bushes behind the brick dumpster bin….

This couple had a mattress, pillows, covers, a radio, and backpacks!!! I was only a few feet away when I saw them and I crept back to my truck so they would’t think I was spying on them!!! I actually don’t think they even saw me!!

I took this shot from the truck using my strongest zoom.

I see them there every morning, and I can’t imagine what they do when we get our regular afternoon rain showers!!! That mattress HAS to feel like someone peed on it!!!
